Guided Luxury Tours to Great Ventures Oak Creek Canyon 2 miles- Arizonas first designated scenic highway and in the top ten distinguished US Highways in Travel Guides. 12 miles of amazing geological changes. Slide Rock is 6 miles up the canyon, a natural water slide, great for the whole family. Montezumas Castle 35 miles- One of the southwests oldest and best preserved cliff dwellings of the Pueblo civilization, this five story, 20 room home was constructed circa 1,100 AD. Montezumas Well - 30 miles- A deep limestone pool resembling a small lake that is fed by continuously flowing springs. The prehistoric irrigation system used by the Hohokam and Sinagua Indians is well preserved. Tuzigoot National Monument 30 miles- Tuzigoot, which means crooked water to the Apache, has three nicely restored Pueblos of more than 110 rooms.
